The story follows a track similar to that of the mainstream comedy Groundhog Day, in that Jesse Jane seems to be spending the same several hours of her life over and over again. She wakes up in bed with the suspicion that her boyfriend (Jason Steel) is cheating on her, storms off to find him, and meets up with different results each and every time.
The first time around, Jason is indeed fooling around with his ex-girlfriend who also happens to be his new next door neighbor (played by Natalia Wood). Fortunately, he chooses to fool around in her apartment instead of his, so when Jesse enters her boyfriend's place, she only finds his pal Eric Masterson - whom Jesse can't help but climb on top of! So Jason is with Natalia in one apartment, while Jesse is with Eric across the way, but the two meet each other out in the hallway. Jesse gets knocked over when Eric exits the apartment, and she wakes in bed...only to find herself repeating the same hours over again!
Barging off once again to her boyfriend's place, she arrives this time to find Eric making out with Charlie Lane, while Natalia is busy with an all-girl threesome on her boyfriend's couch. Her boyfriend isn't fooling around with anyone this time, but that doesn't stop Jesse from....waking up yet again facing the same time period!
As they say - the third time's a charm, and this time Jesse and Jason manage to hook-up for a hot movie-ending sex scene that has Jesse getting it doggy and spoon style and climaxes with Jason popping his load onto her pussy. But is this really the end, or is Jesse doomed to repeat this time period for all eternity?
The video and audio for Three Timing are well-done, including a nice sounding 5.1 track for the movie. The DVD includes a Behind the Scenes featurette that continues the MTV-style of editing that has become a staple in recent supplimental material from Digital Playground...in other words, it's nicely made and very entertaining. There's also a "Porn 101" featurette that pokes a little fun at newcomer Jason Steel. Other features include bios for Jesse Jane and Robby D., plus a photo gallery and a nice selection of trailers for other Digital Playground titles.
The idea for Three Timing is a pretty simple one, but thanks to the direction of Robby D. and the killer, knockout, drop-dead gorgeous body of Jesse Jane (oh, have I mentioned I'm quite fond of her?!), this turns out to be a quite enjoyable movie that most porn buyers will want to add to their collection.
